Issue The Client uses ZaiNet for Nat Gas trade capture, Allegro for scheduling and Outlook with Excel to create create and track diversions. This would cause confusion, nomination issues, scheduling difficulties and diversion tracking issues. Because different systems are used, the client cannot see a consolidated Cash Month Nat Gas position report with any granularity. Solution › Designed and developed Cash Month Nat Gas Contract Flow Path MS Access application › Transactional for Cash Month Nat Gas contract entry, editing and reporting for Nat Gas scheduling. › Autonomous front end, menu driven user interface, keyboard shortcut matrix driven. › Multi-user database backend. › Includes N.A. pipelines and storage, fees, contract path and diversions, volumes, delivery dates. Benefits › For Cash Month, Client can see a consolidated Nat Gas positions report by multiple choices of granularity, i.e., Price Curve, Pipeline, Delivery Date, etc. › The scheduling team is working with single source of truth. › Multi-user application tracks original contract with all contract attributes as well as updated diversions to keep scheduling up to date.
